Check-in: How are you doing today and in life?

I heard the best saying today. A very thoughtful and well-spoken man questioned us during a sermon, "how much meaning are you putting into your hyphen?" Your "hyphen" meaning the hyphen between your birth year and death year on your tombstone.

The hyphen. That's all we have. Simple, yet very profound.

So to check-in, how are you doing with putting meaning into your hyphen today? Did you help someone out? Did you spend time with some loved ones? Perhaps you took a little time to be thankful for the beautiful environment around you? Or maybe you took a moment and truly listened? Do you have any regrets? Any goals left unattained?

How are you doing day to day?

I think this is a great statement to live by--it completely resonated with me and I hope it does the same for you. And if you don't feel like you know "what" to put into your hyphen or "how" to put what you want into your hyphen, let me know as coaching can help.

P.S. Happy Father's day to ALL people who mentor to someone else, regardless of gender or position!
