Life Coach Chat Wednesday--Self Responsibility and Love

This week's Life Coach Chat is about the most foundational piece of our wellness:

Self Responsibility and Love

I've written about this core aspect of wellness in a previous post, but I think it is easy for us to forget just how vital this is for our overall success rate in our quest for wellness.

I chat often with individuals who keep hitting road blocks in their journey to achieve their most valued wellness goals and they are always confused as to why. When I dig a little deeper with them, what I usually find is that these people struggle with first respecting and loving themselves enough to properly go after their goals. Sometimes they want to achieve simple goals like talking a walk 4 days a week for 20 minutes at a time or even implementing 10 minutes of meditation into their morning routine. After coming up with a plan to do so, many find that it's hard to keep up their action plans or even start!
Often people struggle with caring enough about themselves to truly take care of their wellness goals. The aforementioned people might say, "well, I just don't have enough time to walk or practice meditation" or "I'm just not motivated enough". The key words in those statements, to me, are "enough". Aren't we enough? Aren't you enough? Don't we deserve to find the time to walk and meditate if those are our goals? Not prioritizing ourselves can lead to low energy levels and even low self-esteem.
Life coaching can help clarify action steps toward increasing your self-responsibility and love. If you are struggling with low self-esteem or feeling like you're "enough", life coaching can be a great avenue toward change!

If you are interested in going after your wellness goals, don't forget about my special offer going on now through August 31.

  1. Well said. I think most of us struggle with making the connection between wellness activities and our view of ourselves.
